Eye lid tape - AMAZING eye gadget!

It was only by accident that I stumbled upon a youtube video where someone used this thing called "eye lid tape"....and man am I glad that I did!

This stuff is amazing!!!
It takes like a second to apply and it changes your eyes completely!
It lifts your eye lids and opens up your eye:-)







I took some pics of me wearing the tape - I hope that you can see the difference on these pictures..I was kinda in a hurry so the quality isn't really the best:-/

I always hated that my eyelids were so heavy because you never could see my eye shadow:-/
This has actually been a very big issue for me so for me to finaly see some partr of my lid is really amazing and I can't wait to play around with different eye makeup looks!

3rd week of INSANITY finished...and survived!

I did it! I've completed week 3:-) HURRA
I feel so much stronger and energized than before INSANITY it's amazing!

I mark off every day that passes:-)

I keep taking pictures every two weeks of my progress but I'll first post them all when I'm finished with the 60 days program:-)

Dip dyed hair - a trend for fall

 So where did this trend even come from?!?...
I must admit that I'm having mixed feelings about it. Some of it looks very pretty and awesome but aome of it just looks like s**t....

I've also noticed that this trend can be devided into two groups; crazy dip dye and natural dip dye. Let me show you what I mean...

It's not because I don't like the colorful contrasts - I really do I just can't see my self wearing it out on a regular day to school.

What is INSANITY 60 days challenge?

...As some of you guys know I've started the INSANITY 60 days challenge programme last week and I'm now currently in the middle of week 2:-)

Before I start explaining how awesome this workout is I've found a little documentary that I would like you to watch:-)

Facts:

• During the 60 days programme you exercise 6 days a week.

• The workouts are between 30-55 minutes a day.

• You already feel stronger and more fit after the first week

Now as for me the first week was pure agony! I had to start eating carbs again in order to do the workouts but since my body wasn't used to eating carbs I litterary blew up like a balloon!

Now I'm in week 2 and I'm finally beginning to loose ll that acces water in my body:-)
I feel stronger (I can do push up's now) and leaner already!

As for cravings - I haven't had any!
I'm fully commited to this programme and the only way I can complete it is by eating things that are good for me and my body.
INSANITY forces you to think of food as fuel - which is a very good thing, especially if you (like me) have a tendency of overeating.

Look of the day - Jewelery thrift shopping!:-)

Thrift shopping is so damn addictive!
I've been at it again and this time we visited two different shops to scoup up some awesome jewelery items for autumn:-)

LOOK OF THE DAY:

•  I went with my new knitted mini dress in these awesome autumn colors which I simply adore! 

• I have my new minty colored scarf (form last time I was thrift shopping). 
•  For accessories I used a rusty red leather head band, my brown leather belt and my big leo printed tote (the bigger the bag the more room for ones finds xD) 
•  Lastly I paired it all with some panty hose, my warm black kneehigh socks and finaly....my ugg's:-)

THE THINGS I BOUGHT TODAY:

 


















 I found this beautiful medalion the first place we went and it was love at first sight!
I payed around 2 dollars for it:-)

This bracelet was brand new and I got it for about a dollar:-) It's super cote and has a lot of pretty charms as feathers, keys, hearts and a butterfly!

...And last but not least I got all of these cool bracelets!....so I think it was a profitable day where I got some unique pieces - and the best part is that i got all of it for under 6 dollars!...yay!:-P

DIY elbow patches the cheap way!

So you've propably seen these jumpers on the street already - the elbow patches are BACK big time this season!

I personally think they look great and I'm finding myself having a major patch crush! <3
....But they are quite expensive:-/  It seems that the value of a jumper these days sky rocket when you add some square inches of suade material on to it. .. sooo I descided to go thrift shopping for some suede materials and get creative and save some money!.....the slogan for the day; be creative - save a daim:-P

I was lucky to find a second hand suede jacket for under 4 dollars but you can use anything you want for this little "arts and crafts" project:-) Just go and visit your local thrift shop and I'm sure you'll find something.....Okay, Let's get started!

HOW IT'S DONE IN 3 SIMPLE STEPS:

1. Find a jumper, cardigan, sweater (what ever you like) and measure hvor big you want the patches to be and where. I'm gonna use my new grey oversized jumper for this.

2. Cut a round "oval circle" in a piece of paper and put it over the suede. That way you'll know where to cut the suede and get two uniform and eaven pieces for your elbows:-)

I used a white pencil to draw the line where I'm suppose to cut.

3. Get your sewing kit and sew the patches into place all the way around.

I used a grey thread. 

And there you go! Your own fashionable elbow patched piece for cheaps:-D

I've sewn in a suede pocket into this long t shirt...cool huh?:-)

Eye make up tutorial for hooded eyelids - make your eyes pop!

This tutorial was requested by one of my beloved viewers.
It was super fun to make!:-D

Since I have hooded eyelids I always try to search tutorials for my eye type but sadly there aren't that many tutorials around.
So this is my atempt to make one for this type of eyes:-)

The best home made scrub mask in the world!

This is truely the best scrub mask that I have EVER tried!
It leaves your skin baby soft and well nourished:-)

Dark brown sugar is moist and has much smoother grain texture than ordinary sugar making it perfect for facial scrubs!

Super Sugar Scrub mask:

All you'll need is some dark brown sugar

Wash your face with luke water and start to gently massage the sugar in circular movements onto your face.
Massage for about 5 minutes until the sugar almost desolve into a sticky mass.

NOTE: You might need to apply some more water on your palms to melt the sugar into your face.
Let it sit on your face for another 15 minutes before you wash your face.

The theory on this mask is that your skin doesn't get ennough sugar which it needs in order to stay elastic and vibrant.

I promise that you will see immediate results:-)

.....oh....and this mask is also great as a body scrub under the shower;-)

My daily skin care routine secrets!

One of my viewers on youtube asked me if I wanted to make a video on my skin care products and I of course LOVE to make requested videos:-)

I will be posting new recipies for homemade beauty masks that I use soon!
Here's one of them:

Baking powder supreme - for akne and big pores:
approx 2 tablespoon of baking powder
approx 1 tablespoon of luke water (it has to be like a wet paste)

Put on you washed face and wait for 10 minutes and rinse out.
NOTE: if you have a sensitive skin please make the mix with lesser baking powder.

Homemade beauty mask for the sommer

So since it's summer and my foundation kinda melts of in the heat I figured it was time to set my focus on my face and the natural beauty (or lack of it:-P)...

This is a recipe for a homemade beauty mask that really makes your skin look like a million bucks!
...it's cheap, it's healty and you can make it at home^^


                                                  All you need is:
1 tablespoon of creme fraiche
½ mature avocado
1 tablespoon of honey

1. Blend it all well together until you get an eaven paste.
2. Wash your face
3. Put the mask on and relax for about 20 minutes
4. Wash of and moisturize with your favourite creme
5. You're done and fabously looking:-)
