My weight loss journey with LCHF and INSANITY ^^

It's been very crazy over here in "Maja-land" ao I really haven't had the time and energy to make a video in time - so sorry!:-/

I'm at day 3 now in my 60 days INSANITY challenge and I'm really in a lot of pain due to all those crazy things we're doing in these dvd's!

In order to keep up I've had to increase my carb intage to approx 30% of my daily intake so that sucks a bit because my body isn't all thrilled about it. but I just hope this is gonna transform my body as all the other participants in the video:-)

Anyway, here's som,e links for you if you want to look in to the INSANITY workout:

My weight loss journey with LCHF week 5

Since I've been sick all last week I don't really have that much to update on this week.
...I ate soup, drank a lot of tea with honey, saw a bunch of bad quality soap ope's and leaked with mucus while praying for a mercyful death....

I'm up and running again though! And this week I'm gonna try to eat as much high protein foods as possible and see if this can help speed the weight loss up a bit.....kinda nice to have your own little guineapig in the LCHF department isn't it? ^^

Well....I'm off to do my 100000 squats and lunges now!:-)
Have a super duper absolutely fabulous day!

My weight loss journey with LCHF week 4

Hey guys!
First of all sorry for the delay of this video:-S I just didn't have the time to make it in time and I really strive to make these updates on the same day as I post them so the updates are fresh and 100% honest:-)

The "dividing my food into several meals a day" apporach backfired tremendously so no weight loss this week:-/
Next weeks approach: high protein level and back to two large meals a day.
Fingers crossed that something will finally start to happen as I'm feeling a bit down over the effort I'm putting into loosing weight when nothing seems to happen.

Hope you guys have a great week!
Big hugs
Maja

My weight loss journey with LCHF week 3

Time for another video!
300 grams down this week - that's quite okay:-)

Next week I'm gonna try something new:
Instead of eating only two large meals a day I'm gonna try to divide my daily food amount into 3-4 smaller meals a day to see if this will increase my weight loss:-)

Have a great week and see you next sunday!

Eating Mongolian bbq the LCHF way:-)

We'we been so good the last couple of weeks with our diets and now exercise that we decided to go out:-)
Our favorite restaurant is a mongolian bbq buffet where you can eat as much as you want and there are a lot of different choises:-)

Since we didn't want to compromise our diets we just ate 90% beef with garlic, soya and chilli and then some onions, leaks and mushrooms - it was sooooo good! And the amazing thing is that I'm not soore in my muscles as I was before - the proteins in the meet must have helped!
Exercise wise I'm currently working on body toning with elastic bands.
I train 2x weekly 30minutes for the upper body including arms and
2x weekly 30 minutes for the legs and booty;-)

Tomorrow we're going out to swim - it's been a while since last time so I'm a bit excited about how I'm gonna look in my bikini:-/...oh well, it's not gonna get better unless I just go and do it!

Btw. I lost 300g since last tuesday so yay me!:-D
Okay guys...this a bit of a messy post:-/
Oh well...have a great day!

Squash'ta with italian meat sauce

I LOOOOOOOVEEEEE Italian food! :-D
Sadly on this diet pasta is a forbidden fruit so I needed to find a substitute in order to enjoy my favourite italian sauces and dishes:-)
And the winner was.....squash!

You'll need:
1 big squash
500g beef
1 can of tomato paste
1 onion
3 chopped garlic tooths
olive oil for frying
home made basil pesto
paprika spice, salt and pepper

What to do:
 1. Fry the beef and onion in a pan.
2.  Put the tomato paste in the pan aswell.
3. Carv the squash into long spaghetti looking strips. (I use a peeling knife with good results)
4. Put the squash in a bowl and mix with the basil pesto and garlic.
5. Blend the pasta into the sauce in the pan let simmer for another 10-15 minutes.

...And your'e done! Hope you enjoy!

LCHF - fun with oopsie's

Ahh oopsies - LCHF's bread replacement....So simple yet so good!

I've been eating these babies for some time now and found out that with very small modifications you can use them as so much more than "just" oopsies:-)

The basic recepee:
3 eggs
1 table spoon baking powder
200g cream cheese (full fat)
1 table spoon linseeds
a pinch of salt

1. Seperate the yolks from the whites.
2. Mix the egg whites with the salt until you dare putting the bowl upside down over your head.
3. Mix the yolks with the rest of ingredients.
4. Gently stir the yolk mass with the egg whites.

Make 6-8 oopsies.
Bake for about 12 minutes or until golden at 200 degrees celcius/ 390 degrees fahrenheit.
As an inspiration: todays lunch - oopsies with home made tuna salad!

Now for the fun part:

Suggestion 1.
By adding some vanilla and some stevia (perhaps a couple of blueberries) you'll get some nice pancakes that you can serve with whipped creme:-)

Suggestion 2.
By making just one big oopsie you can turn it to a pizza buttom. bake for 12 minutes, take out, put your toppings on and bake for 20 minutes:-)

Suggestion 3.
Use a cream cheese with flavour (urbs, toscana, chilli etc.) and add some grated cheese and/or fried bacon to the egg yolk mass. That way you'll get some very tasty buns that you can use for your lunch:-)

Suggestion 4.
By adding a bit of sesame on top you can make your own burger buns - very tasty and so easy!

Suggestion 5.
If you drop the baking powder from the recipee and make the oopsies more rectangular you'll end up with a sort of tortillas that you can make a delicious wrap with:-)
- Try it with some chicken, asparagus and some greens!

Okay, that's just what I could find from the top of my head!
But it gives you an idea of how versatile this recipee is:-)
Be creative and have fun with it!

Hugs

Introducing the LCHF diet (lov carb high fat)

Some of you have been asking me about my current diet program so I thought I would link you some very informative videoes and websites that you guys can ckeck out:-)

I got pretty tired of the damn diet shakes - as predicted so I was in desperate need of something new.
I've only been on the LCHF since monday but I'm starting to feel some effect already!

Basically LCHF diet is build around the fact that our digestive system hasn't really evolved since the stoneage...therefor we shouldn't stuff our selves with carbs and grain since there was non of that in our diets back then.

I approximately eat 60%fat/25%protein/15%carb during the day.
The ground rule is that you only eat vegetables that grow obove the earth (so no popatoes or carrots).

I will be making a video explaing to you guys how it works and what my experienceses are with it.
Meanwhile please take a closer look at these videos:
